Layered Margarita Popsicles

INGREDIENTS

  • For the Strawberry Section:
  • 4 strawberries, blended in a food processor to create very small pieces
  • 1 cup Strawberry Blend Juice (I used Naked Brand Berry Blast)
  • 1 tablespoon good tequila (opt)
  • 1 tablespoon agave nectar
  • ½ tablespoon fresh lime juice
  • For the White Peach Section:
  • 1 white peach, blended in a food processor to create very small pieces
  • 1 cup diet sierra mist (or other lemon lime soda)
  • 1 tablespoon good tequila (opt)
  • 1 tablespoon agave nectar
  • ½ tablespoon fresh lime juice
  • For the Lime Section:
  • 3 tablespoon limeade concentrate
  • 1 cup water
  • ½ tablespoon agave nectar
  • 1 tablespoon good tequila (opt)
INSTRUCTIONS
  1. Combine the ingredients for each section in 3 separate cups/containers.
  2. Spoon ⅙ of strawberries into each popsicle mold. Pour ⅙ of strawberry margarita mixture into each popsicle mold, pouring to about ⅓ of the way up the popsicle mold Allow this section to freeze for at least 2 hours before proceeding to next section
  3. After strawberry section has been in freezer for at least 2 hours, spoon ⅙ of the fresh peaches into each mold. Pour ⅙ of the peach margarita mixture into each mold, this time the molds will be filled about ⅔ of the way up. Allow this section to freeze for at least 2 hours before proceeding to the final section.
  4. After peach section has been in freezer for at least 2 hours, top with lime margarita mixture, if desired, cup small lime pieces to place at the top of each popsicle. Allow to freeze for at least 2 hours or until completely frozen through. Enjoy!
